Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product questions, and resolving minor issues on the spot.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that promotional displays and price tags are up‑to‑date.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and merchandise returns in coordination with the floor team.
- Collaborate closely with sales associates, supervisors, and back‑office staff to streamline the checkout flow and reduce wait times.
- Handle customer complaints or special requests with professionalism, escalating complex matters to the store manager when necessary.
- Adhere to all store policies, safety regulations, and loss‑prevention procedures to protect both the company and customers.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, promotional campaigns, and new POS features.
- Support promotional events and seasonal sales drives by offering upsell suggestions and informing customers about ongoing deals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated punctuality and a disciplined approach to work schedules.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and assist colleagues during peak periods.
- Basic numeracy and familiarity with cash handling or POS systems; prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during promotional events.
- Customer‑service orientation with a friendly, patient demeanor.
- Problem‑solving mindset and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
