Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Community Officer to join our team in Ngawi, Jawa Timur. This role is designed for motivated women who are passionate about empowering low‑income women through financial literacy, entrepreneurship support, and community engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with our partners to deliver tailored business assistance, promote disciplined savings habits, and facilitate group‑based financing solutions without collateral.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned neighborhoods and build trusting relationships with women entrepreneurs, providing personalized business coaching and financial education.
- Conduct workshops on simple bookkeeping, budgeting, and savings discipline, ensuring participants understand how to manage cash flow effectively.
- Coordinate group lending cycles, distribute micro‑loans, and monitor repayment schedules to maintain a healthy loan portfolio.
- Identify individual and collective needs of community members, offering practical solutions such as market linkage, product development advice, and access to government programs.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, loan disbursements, and progress reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including product development, risk management, and marketing—to refine outreach strategies and improve service delivery.
- Represent the organization at local events, fairs, and stakeholder meetings, acting as a brand ambassador for financial inclusion.
- Continuously evaluate the impact of interventions, gathering feedback to refine training materials and improve client outcomes.
Requirements
- Female candidates aged 18‑33 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; diploma (D3) or bachelor’s degree (S1) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for meeting new people and building community networks.
- Excellent communication abilities—both verbal and written—in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Detail‑oriented and capable of maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
