Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty desserts according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Develop new product concepts, experiment with flavors, and contribute innovative ideas to keep the bakery menu fresh and appealing.
- Measure and mix ingredients with precision, ensuring consistency in texture, taste, and appearance across all batches.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and health codes.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for raw materials, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen assistants, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Collaborate closely with the front‑of‑house staff to coordinate production schedules, special orders, and event catering.
- Document production logs, recipe adjustments, and quality control checks for continuous improvement.
- Handle equipment maintenance, report any malfunctions, and ensure all bakery tools are in optimal condition.
- Participate in weekly planning meetings to align production goals with sales forecasts and promotional campaigns.
Requirements
- Female candidates only (as per client specification).
- Minimum age of 19 years; no upper age limit.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a bakery or pastry environment.
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated creativity in cake and pastry design, with a portfolio of previous work preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and a high degree of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team.
- Proficiency in basic math for scaling recipes and managing inventory.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime for special events.
