Introduction
Pakuwon City Mall is expanding its family‑focused services by launching an engaging children’s learning center within the mall premises. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Pengajar (Teacher) candidates who are passionate about early childhood development and can create a safe, stimulating environment for young learners. This full‑time position works Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and offers a contract‑based employment model. Ideal applicants will hold at least a bachelor’s degree, demonstrate strong communication skills, and possess the patience required to nurture children’s curiosity.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age‑appropriate educational activities that foster cognitive, social, and motor skill development.
- Plan daily lesson plans, crafts, and interactive games that align with the center’s curriculum standards.
- Monitor each child’s progress, maintain observation records, and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and mall staff to organize special events, holiday programs, and parent‑teacher meetings.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and any special needs of the children.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism, adhering to the agreed working hours and contractual obligations.
- Participate in regular training sessions and professional development workshops offered by the employer.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Early Childhood Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- Genuine love for working with children and a high level of patience.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to convey concepts clearly to young minds and to interact politely with parents.
- Honesty, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
- Team‑player attitude – able to collaborate effectively with other teachers and mall personnel.
- No current employment contract with another company that would create a conflict of interest.
- Willingness to sign a fixed‑term employment contract.
