Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Spa & Gallery Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day activities of our luxury wellness and art spaces. The ideal candidate will blend a solid hospitality background with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role reports directly to the General Manager and plays a critical part in maintaining the brand’s reputation for excellence, elegance, and personalized service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the spa and adjoining gallery, ensuring seamless coordination between treatment rooms, reception, retail, and art exhibition areas.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that uphold hygiene, safety, and service quality standards.
  • Schedule and supervise spa therapists, front‑desk staff, and gallery curators, managing shift rosters for a six‑day work week (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and covering weekends or public holidays as required.
  • Monitor inventory levels of spa products, linens, and gallery merchandise; place orders and negotiate with suppliers to control costs.
  • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and complaints with a guest‑oriented mindset, turning challenges into opportunities for delight.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote special treatments, exhibitions, and seasonal packages, driving revenue growth.
  • Conduct regular staff training on customer service, product knowledge, and safety protocols to maintain a professional, well‑groomed team appearance.
  • Analyze performance metrics such as occupancy rates, average ticket value, and guest satisfaction scores; prepare reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations, licensing requirements, and brand standards.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum D3/D4 (associate or bachelor’s) degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a spa, hotel, or luxury wellness setting; relevant hospitality background preferred.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to interact with international guests and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven guest‑oriented service mindset with the ability to anticipate and exceed client expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; capable of leading a diverse team of therapists, artists, and support staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational needs.
  • Professional, disciplined appearance with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities; adept at handling guest complaints and delivering swift, effective resolutions.
  • Technical skill set includes familiarity with spa management software, inventory control systems, and basic financial reporting.
  • Additional skill: Certified Spa Therapist or equivalent training is a plus.
