Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Pencucian dan Detailing Mobil to join our dynamic automotive service team. This role is essential in delivering the high‑quality car cleaning and detailing experience that our customers expect. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling a variety of vehicle types while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
The position is full‑time, operating Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00. It is open to individuals who have completed at least a high school education (SMA/SMK or equivalent) and who are motivated to develop their skills in automotive care and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exterior washing of all customer vehicles using appropriate cleaning agents, pressure washers, and hand‑washing techniques.
- Dry vehicles efficiently with microfiber towels or high‑velocity air dryers to prevent water spots and protect paint finishes.
- Apply protective waxes, sealants, or coating products as instructed, ensuring an even and glossy finish.
- Inspect each vehicle for any damage or special cleaning requirements and report findings to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the washing bay, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and waste disposal.
- Assist with minor detailing tasks such as interior vacuuming, dashboard cleaning, and tire shining when needed.
- Provide friendly and professional interaction with customers, answering basic queries about the service process.
- Record daily work logs and report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly.
- Continuously improve efficiency by suggesting process enhancements and participating in training sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as per company policy).
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg, and perform repetitive motions.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining vehicle aesthetics.
- Basic understanding of a store management system (Sistem Manajemen Toko) is advantageous.
- Good communication skills and a customer‑oriented attitude.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
