Introduction
PT. Prima Finance, a leading financial services provider in the Kalimantan region, is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Staf Penagihan – Collector to join our team covering the Kotawaringin Barat area. This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables from our valued customers. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, comfortable conducting field visits, and capable of presenting payment solutions that meet both client needs and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct direct, face‑to‑face visits to assigned customers for collection activities, adhering to a structured schedule.
- Assess each debtor’s financial situation and propose appropriate payment plans or settlement options that align with company guidelines.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily visit reports, documenting client interactions, payment commitments, and any obstacles encountered.
- Track the progress of outstanding accounts, updating the internal collection management system in real time.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal collection procedures, relevant banking regulations, and consumer protection laws.
- Collaborate with the credit control team to resolve disputes, negotiate terms, and prevent future delinquencies.
- Provide feedback to the sales and underwriting departments on recurring collection challenges and suggest process improvements.
- Ensure the safety of personal and company assets during field operations, including proper handling of documents and cash.
Requirements
- Male candidates, aged 18 – 32 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 and S1 qualifications are preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome, though prior experience in collections, sales, or customer service is a plus.
- Active motorcycle ownership with a valid SIM C license.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet daily targets.
- Willingness to be stationed in the Kotawaringin Barat region and travel extensively within the area.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for report entry and data management.
