We are seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Petugas Penjaga Parkir Kendaraan Umum to join our team at a bustling commercial complex in Banjarmasin. The role is vital to ensuring a smooth, safe, and pleasant parking experience for all visitors, from daily commuters to shoppers and tourists. Working hours are from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekend coverage during peak periods.
Responsibilities
- Direct and organize the parking of cars and motorcycles, ensuring optimal use of space and compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist customers in exiting the parking area, guiding them to the nearest exits and providing clear instructions.
- Help customers with loading and unloading of shopping bags or other items, demonstrating attentiveness and physical readiness.
- Provide shelter and protective assistance to customers during inclement weather, such as rain or extreme heat.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the parking lot by sweeping debris, removing litter, and monitoring for hazards.
- Support store staff with occasional lifting or transportation of goods within the retail area, reinforcing teamwork across departments.
- Monitor entry and exit gates, ensuring that only authorized vehicles use designated parking zones.
- Report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or security concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey instructions clearly.
- Friendly, approachable personality with a genuine willingness to assist customers.
- Loyalty and a strong work ethic; willingness to grow with the company.
- Residency in Banjarmasin or surrounding areas for reliable punctuality.
- Physical capability to lift moderate loads (up to 20 kg) and stand for extended periods.
