Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs in preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to standardized recipes.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and food processors safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all ingredients are stored, rotated, and handled following food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Perform basic food prep tasks including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring portions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including regular sanitization of surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
  • Support the kitchen team during peak service periods, handling high‑volume orders while preserving quality.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries, checking inventory, and reporting any discrepancies to the kitchen manager.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and promptly report any hazards.
  • Participate in daily briefings and follow shift handover procedures to ensure continuity of service.
  • Contribute ideas for menu improvement and workflow optimization when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Gender: Open to all genders; the role is physically demanding and requires teamwork.
  • Age: Applicants up to 35 years old (maximum 0 years of experience required, indicating entry‑level).
  • Work Schedule: Two 10‑hour shifts, Monday to Saturday (08:00‑17:00).
  • Key Personal Attributes:
    • Reliability and strong sense of responsibility.
    • Honesty, discipline, and a willingness to learn.
    • Motivation to secure consistent employment and grow within the culinary field.
    • Not currently employed elsewhere to ensure full availability.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior kitchen or food‑service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Residence: Candidates living near the restaurant are preferred to facilitate punctuality.
  • Skills: Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment and follow basic food‑preparation techniques.
