Introduction
HP Tanjung Pinang is seeking energetic and results‑driven sales professionals to join our retail team as SPG/SPB HP. In this role you will be the face of the HP brand within the store, helping customers discover the right technology solutions while driving revenue growth. Responsibilities
- Promote HP laptops, tablets, printers, and accessories to store visitors through engaging product demonstrations.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with customers, guiding them from initial interest to final purchase.
- Explain technical specifications in clear, non‑technical language and provide education on how HP products can meet specific business or personal needs.
- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable HP device based on usage patterns, budget, and performance requirements.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets by proactively upselling accessories, extended warranties, and service plans.
- Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and visually appealing product display that adheres to HP brand guidelines.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to the merchandising and marketing teams to influence future product launches.
- Collaborate with fellow sales associates and store management to plan promotional events, in‑store demos, and seasonal campaigns.
- Utilize the point‑of‑sale system to process transactions accurately and generate sales reports.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest HP technology trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics through regular training and self‑study.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑28 years.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in HP or other consumer‑electronics retail.
- Strong orientation toward achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an approachable manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Adaptability to shifting sales priorities, promotional periods, and inventory changes.
- Basic proficiency with sales‑tracking software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Professional appearance and a customer‑service mindset.
