Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, answering product questions and offering recommendations.
- Maintain clean, well‑arranged shelves by restocking merchandise and rotating items according to FIFO principles.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, report low‑stock items, and support the inventory team during cycle counts.
- Package purchased goods carefully, including standard bagging and special online order wrapping for shipment.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to generate accurate sales receipts and process cash, card, or mobile payments.
- Lift and move lightweight merchandise safely, adhering to ergonomic guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours and promotional events.
- Utilize WhatsApp or other mobile communication tools to coordinate with the back‑office and logistics partners.
- Uphold store security protocols, including loss‑prevention measures and safe handling of cash.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, customer service standards, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 30 years.
- Gender: Female.
- Personal traits: Honest, diligent, responsible, eager to learn, detail‑oriented, friendly, and polite.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Availability: Willing to work the store’s operating hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:30‑18:00) and flexible for occasional overtime during sales events.
- Technical skills: Basic proficiency with WhatsApp or smartphone applications for work communication; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Preferred experience: Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
