Responsibilities
- Assist senior florists in designing, assembling, and finishing a wide variety of bouquets, centerpieces, and themed installations.
- Prepare and transport floral arrangements to event venues, ensuring proper handling and on‑time delivery.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service in‑store and via phone or digital channels, helping clients select flowers that match their occasion and budget.
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, foliage, and supplies; perform daily stock checks and coordinate with vendors for timely re‑orders.
- Execute basic horticultural tasks such as conditioning stems, trimming, and proper water management to extend flower longevity.
- Support event set‑up and breakdown, including arranging décor, installing floral arches, and ensuring all elements meet safety standards.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health‑and‑safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to stage visual displays for promotions, social media content, and in‑store windows.
- Participate in continuous training sessions to stay current with seasonal trends, new flower varieties, and sustainable sourcing practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a florist shop, floral décor, or a related hospitality role (experience is a strong plus).
- Passion for flowers and design, with a keen eye for color, composition, and detail.
- Creative mindset, meticulous work habits, and strong sense of artistic aesthetics.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking in a high‑energy environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and special event days.
- Physical stamina to lift floral crates, stand for long periods, and work outdoors when required.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse clients and vendors.
- Team‑player attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
