We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join Toko Emas Sumberayu, a reputable gold jewelry retailer located in the vibrant districts of Rogojampi and Sumberayu. Responsibilities
The Sales Associate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in selecting gold jewelry that meets their style and budget.
- Providing detailed product knowledge, including metal purity, design specifications, and care instructions.
- Operating the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, issue receipts, and manage cash handling.
- Maintaining the visual presentation of the store by arranging displays, polishing items, and ensuring that merchandise is well‑stocked.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies to the store manager.
- Handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and following up on after‑sales service to build long‑term relationships.
- Adhering to security protocols for high‑value items, including monitoring store entrances and safeguarding valuable inventory.
- Participating in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new collections, sales techniques, and industry trends.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Female, aged 18‑22 years.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Resides in or near Rogojampi or Sumberayu – local candidates are strongly preferred.
- Preferably not wearing a hijab, in accordance with store dress policy.
- Strong work ethic: honest, disciplined, detail‑oriented, and friendly.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to help customers.
- Basic proficiency with a store management system or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
