Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post daily journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP.
- Process payroll, employee reimbursements, and related tax filings, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Support senior accountants in the preparation of corporate, income, and value‑added tax (VAT) returns, including the submission of e‑filings.
- Gather and organize source documents for audits, and cooperate with external auditors during fieldwork.
- Update and monitor tax calendars to guarantee timely compliance with statutory obligations.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to generate financial reports, data analyses, and presentation decks for management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Provide administrative support for the finance department, including filing, document management, and scheduling meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in Accounting or related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in accounting, tax preparation, or a related financial role.
- Valid Brevet Pajak certificate issued by a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (certified competency preferred).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and general ledger concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Resides in or is willing to relocate to the Malang/Batu area.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and a proactive learning attitude.
