Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Field Collector to join our dynamic team in Karanganyar. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely recovery of outstanding receivables while maintaining positive relationships with our valued customers. As a front‑line representative of the company, you will be responsible for on‑site collection activities, payment verification, and detailed reporting. The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits to customers’ premises to negotiate and collect overdue payments.
- Arrange and receive payment settlements directly from clients, ensuring proper documentation.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly visit reports, including status updates and follow‑up actions.
- Maintain and update the internal collection database with real‑time information on payment status.
- Identify high‑risk accounts and coordinate with the credit and legal departments for escalation.
- Develop and follow a personalized collection strategy for each client, balancing assertiveness with customer service.
- Achieve or exceed monthly collection targets set by the management team.
- Map and continuously refresh knowledge of the assigned geographical area to optimize travel routes and reduce response times.
- Provide feedback on common payment objections and suggest improvements to the collection process.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current on regulatory changes and best practices in debt recovery.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections; 2 years preferred.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable motorcycle.
- Strong knowledge of the Karanganyar area and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Excel, CRM tools) for reporting and data entry.
