Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales & Marketing Manager in creating and executing promotional campaigns that drive room bookings, event sales, and ancillary revenue streams.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities within the tourism and hospitality sector.
  • Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts for corporate clients, travel agencies, and group bookings.
  • Maintain the hotel’s digital presence by updating website content, managing social‑media channels, and monitoring online reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to analyze booking patterns, occupancy data, and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Guest Relations and Front Office departments to ensure seamless delivery of promotional offers and packages.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, contribute ideas, and track the progress of ongoing marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare post‑campaign reports, measuring key performance indicators such as conversion rates, ROI, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative support, including database maintenance, lead tracking, and filing of sales documentation.
  • Engage in on‑the‑job training sessions with senior executives to develop professional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • Male or Female applicants – gender is not a selection criterion.
  • Minimum education: Vocational High School (SMK), Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Currently enrolled in an internship program at a university or college.
  • Strong interest in the hospitality industry, particularly in sales and marketing functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English proficiency.
  • Professional appearance, well‑groomed, and capable of representing the hotel brand positively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Disciplined, responsible, and possess a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to commit to the internship period as defined by the company’s schedule.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
