Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer – Pengawas Keamanan Fasilitas to join our team and ensure the safety and protection of our clients’ facilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to maintain a calm and professional presence in a fast‑paced environment. This role offers a stable work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and provides an excellent opportunity to develop a career in facility security while contributing to a safe, secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and restricted zones, to prevent unauthorized access and deter potential threats.
- Conduct regular inspections of security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control devices, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Enforce company policies and local regulations, ensuring that all visitors and staff adhere to safety protocols.
- Respond swiftly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, providing accurate incident reports and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Maintain detailed daily logs, shift reports, and incident documentation in accordance with corporate standards.
- Perform access verification, issue visitor badges, and manage the registration of contractors and delivery personnel.
- Provide clear and courteous communication with employees, clients, and visitors, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources.
- Participate in regular training sessions, including the Gada Pratama certification program, to stay current with security best practices and emerging threats.
- Assist in the development and improvement of security procedures, offering feedback based on field observations.
Requirements
- Educational background: Minimum D3/D4 (associate degree) or at least SMA/Sederajat (high school) for entry‑level consideration.
- Age limit: Applicants must meet the stipulated age criteria set by the organization.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Professional experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in facility security or a similar role.
- Certification: Active Gada Pratama security training certificate is mandatory.
- Key skills: Strong communication abilities, responsible attitude, keen observational skills, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly for extended periods.
- Legal eligibility: Must possess a valid work permit and pass background checks.
