Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Teknisi PPF – Perawatan dan Perbaikan Film Pelindung to join our growing team in Makassar, South Sulawesi. As a specialist in Paint Protection Film (PPF) application and maintenance, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every vehicle serviced by our workshop meets the highest standards of quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, decontaminating, and inspecting for defects before PPF installation.
- Measure, cut, and apply Paint Protection Film to various car models, ensuring precise alignment and seamless coverage.
- Conduct post‑installation inspections to verify that the film meets thickness, adhesion, and visual standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on existing PPF, such as edge lifting, bubbling correction, and tear remediation.
- Collaborate closely with the front‑office staff to schedule jobs, provide realistic completion timelines, and communicate any technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate job records, including materials used, labor hours, and customer approvals.
- Drive company vehicles safely to transport tools, film rolls, and, when necessary, to pick up or deliver customer vehicles.
- Uphold a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Provide guidance and informal training to junior technicians or apprentices on proper PPF handling techniques.
- Assist the sales and customer service teams by explaining the benefits of PPF, answering technical questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon vehicle hand‑over.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience installing automotive PPF.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Strong work ethic: honest, disciplined, meticulous, and physically fit for standing and lifting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with office staff and customers.
- Basic analytical skills to assess surface conditions and determine the best installation approach.
- Willingness to work in Makassar, South Sulawesi, with a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑18:00.
