Introduction
Adira Finance is seeking a diligent and results‑oriented Remedial Officer (Collection) to join our team in Padang Sidempuan (Sudirman). This position is pivotal in ensuring that overdue accounts receivable (A/R) are recovered efficiently and in accordance with company policies. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external clients, and the broader finance department to maintain healthy cash flow and uphold Adira Finance’s reputation for financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue loans, ensuring timely follow‑up and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct daily monitoring of A/R aging reports, identify high‑risk accounts, and prioritize collection activities based on risk exposure.
- Initiate contact with delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits, employing professional negotiation techniques to secure payment commitments.
- Prepare and submit detailed collection status reports to senior management, highlighting trends, obstacles, and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to verify borrower information, resolve disputes, and update credit files accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all collection activities, ensuring data integrity within the company’s CRM and financial systems.
- Assist in the development and improvement of collection policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance recovery rates.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior collection staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support legal actions when necessary by preparing case files, coordinating with external agencies, and following up on court proceedings.
- Adhere to the established work schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00) and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.
Requirements
- Educational background: Minimum D3/D4 (associate degree) or S1 (bachelor’s degree) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Age: Not older than 30 years at the time of application.
- Gender: Male (as per current posting requirements).
- Work experience: At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services; experience in multifinance is a strong advantage.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in credit monitoring, debt collection processes, and basic financial analysis.
- Interpersonal abilities: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Business acumen: Understanding of multifinance business models and a target‑driven mindset.
- Location flexibility: Placement at Adira Finance office that matches the candidate’s domicile.
- Availability to work the specified hours and days, with occasional overtime if collection targets demand it.
