Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Akuntansi & Pajak Perusahaan to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a proactive accounting professional who possesses a solid foundation in financial reporting and tax compliance, and who is ready to take on supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure accurate financial statements, timely tax filings, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on daily accounting tasks and professional development.
- Coordinate and execute the full tax cycle, including preparation of corporate income tax (PPh), value‑added tax (PPN), and other statutory filings.
- Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and present actionable insights to management.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Assist in the development of internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve financial integrity.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing historical data, trend analysis, and variance explanations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards, recommending necessary adjustments to processes.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects that require financial expertise, such as system implementations or cost‑reduction initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory (SPV) role within accounting or tax departments.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous, detail‑oriented approach to work.
- Proven experience in preparing comprehensive financial reports.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and practical tax filing experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
