Introduction

The Staff Kitchen Operations and Maintenance role is a vital position within our dynamic food service environment. Responsibilities

  • Operate, clean, and perform routine maintenance on all kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and refrigeration units.
  • Monitor daily kitchen workflow to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and food safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen area, identifying and addressing potential hazards such as spills, faulty equipment, or sanitation issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for kitchen supplies, tools, and consumables, and coordinate re‑ordering with the procurement team.
  • Assist in the preparation of meals during peak periods, ensuring that all dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Document maintenance activities, report equipment failures promptly, and collaborate with external service providers for major repairs.
  • Train junior staff on proper equipment usage, cleaning protocols, and emergency response procedures.
  • Support waste‑reduction initiatives by implementing proper storage techniques and recycling practices.
  • Ensure the kitchen environment complies with health department guidelines and internal hygiene policies.
  • Participate in scheduled deep‑cleaning cycles and seasonal kitchen audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 29 years maximum.
  • Gender: Preference for female candidates, though all qualified applicants are welcome.
  • At least 0‑2 years of experience in kitchen operations, equipment handling, or related maintenance roles.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for commuting to the worksite.
  • Proficiency in operating common kitchen appliances and tools.
  • Strong sense of honesty, reliability, and personal responsibility.
  • Ability to follow SOPs meticulously and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.
