Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Bahasa Indonesia to teach senior secondary students (Class X – XII) at our reputable educational institution. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Indonesian language curricula aligned with national standards for Classes X, XI, and XII.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Facilitate classroom discussions, debates, and writing workshops to enhance students’ reading, writing, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Evaluate student performance through quizzes, essays, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and remedial support when needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects that connect language learning with history, social studies, and cultural studies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in accordance with institutional policies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and curriculum review committees.
- For Madin assignments: lead Qur’anic and classical Arabic literature sessions, ensuring students can read “kitab kuning,” and apply nahwu‑shorof principles.
- Uphold the institution’s code of conduct, demonstrating loyalty, punctuality, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Indonesian Language Education, Linguistics, or a related field; Master’s degree (S2) is a plus.
- Graduates from state universities (PTN) are highly preferred.
- Open to all genders; no age restriction.
- Strong command of Bahasa Indonesia with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- For Madin teaching positions: ability to read and interpret classical Arabic texts, proficiency in nahwu‑shorof, and at least five years of formal pesantren education.
- Basic proficiency in English and Arabic is advantageous.
- Demonstrated loyalty to the institution and adherence to its policies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, classroom management, and the ability to motivate students.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
