Introduction

We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Staff to join our dynamic retail team in the building‑materials sector. This role is ideal for a confident, communicative male professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, target‑oriented environment and enjoys interacting with customers both in‑store and on the field. The successful candidate will represent our brand, promote our product range, and help drive sales growth across all store locations.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with customers, understand their project needs, and recommend appropriate building‑material products.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, pricing, and inventory levels to provide accurate information.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets through effective prospecting, upselling, and cross‑selling techniques.
  • Conduct on‑site visits to construction sites and job‑sites using a personal motorbike, gathering market intelligence and building strong relationships with contractors, architects, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecast demand, and assist the store manager in stock replenishment planning.
  • Participate in promotional events, product launches, and in‑store merchandising to enhance product visibility.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor that reflects the company’s professional image.

Requirements

  • Male candidate, age up to 35 years (maximum age may vary based on local labor regulations).
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence, and a well‑presented appearance.
  • In‑depth knowledge of building‑material products, including cement, steel, tiles, and finishing supplies.
  • Valid SIM C (motorcycle license) and personal motorbike for mobile/field work.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet sales targets, and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Detail‑oriented, quick‑thinking, and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in the construction or building‑materials industry, with a broad network of professional contacts.
  • Proficiency in using store management systems and basic computer applications.
