Introduction

This entry‑level role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the full merchandise lifecycle, from sample development to final delivery, while working closely with both internal design teams and external manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow up on sample development, production schedules, material availability, and purchase orders (POs) with CMT (Cut‑Make‑Trim) facilities and external vendors.
- Enter product data accurately into the ERP system, create and maintain sample charts, and generate detailed production timetables.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure finished garments are received on time and meet quality standards.
- Validate vendor calculations of fabric and trim usage, flagging any discrepancies for corrective action.
- Facilitate clear communication between design, buying, and production teams as well as external suppliers to guarantee product specifications are fully understood and adhered to.
- Assist in the preparation of cost analyses, comparing planned versus actual material consumption and labor costs.
- Support the senior merchandiser in preparing weekly status reports for senior management, highlighting any risks to delivery dates.
- Participate in regular cross‑functional meetings to discuss upcoming collections, seasonal forecasts, and capacity planning.
- Maintain organized documentation of all production records, sample approvals, and vendor contracts for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as per company policy for this specific role).
- At least 1 year of experience in garment or apparel merchandising, production coordination, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of the garment production process, including pattern making, fabric sourcing, and CMT operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and basic ERP data entry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate material consumption and assess cost implications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
