Introduction
We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Mentor Kelas Interaktif Online (Proyek Bimon) to join our growing team of educators. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality, interactive online classes for senior high school (SMA) students preparing for the Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK). As a mentor, you will design engaging lesson materials, lead live virtual sessions, and provide timely feedback to help learners master critical subjects such as General Reasoning, Indonesian Language, Mathematics, and English.
Responsibilities
- Develop subject‑specific question banks:
- Mathematics mentors: create 15 original problems with detailed written solutions (Word format) per class.
- Other sub‑tests: create 20 problems with comprehensive explanations per class.
- Design post‑test items (5 per session) that directly relate to the day’s lesson content.
- Submit all question files at least three days (H‑3) before the scheduled class.
- Conduct a rehearsal (gladi resik) prior to each live session to ensure smooth delivery.
- Join the dedicated WhatsApp Interactive Class group and post reminders:
- One‑day (H‑1) reminder for the upcoming class.
- Weekly preview of next‑week sessions.
- Arrive online no later than 30 minutes before class start time and remain present for the full 90‑minute session.
- Facilitate the class with enthusiasm, friendliness, and interactivity, encouraging student participation and addressing questions clearly.
- Maintain professional communication with students, parents, and fellow mentors.
- Continuously update and improve teaching materials based on student feedback and performance data.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1); graduates of public universities with a GPA above 3.5 are highly preferred.
- Age: No upper limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
- Gender: All genders accepted.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably with high‑school students or UTBK preparation courses.
- Deep knowledge of UTBK subject matter for one or more of the following areas:
- General Reasoning (Penalaran Umum)
- Indonesian Language (PBM, LBI, PPU)
- Mathematics (PK, PM)
- English Language (LBE)
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom‑management skills.
- Creativity in lesson planning and ability to adapt content for an online environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic video‑conference tools.
- Team‑player mindset, willing to collaborate with other mentors and support staff.
