Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Senior Analyst – Financial Reporting & Compliance to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial statements, adherence to regulatory standards, and providing insightful analysis that supports strategic decision‑making. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and senior management to uphold the integrity of our financial reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensure proper journal entries, and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts to guarantee data accuracy.
- Coordinate and lead the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and tax filing requirements, and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Develop and enhance reporting templates and dashboards using advanced Excel functions, Power Query, and other BI tools.
- Liaise with external auditors, providing required documentation, responding to inquiries, and facilitating audit procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash‑flow projections, highlighting key financial trends.
- Support the implementation of new accounting systems or ERP upgrades, ensuring seamless data migration and user training.
- Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses, cost‑benefit studies, and profitability assessments for new projects or operational initiatives.
- Mentor junior accountants, reviewing their work for accuracy and offering guidance on best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in the hotel or resort industry is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in journal entry preparation, financial statement compilation, and financial administration.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
- High level of attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
