Responsibilities
- Collect, pre‑rinse, and thoroughly wash all types of dishware, glassware, cutlery, and cooking utensils using industrial dishwashers and manual methods when required.
- Inspect cleaned items for any residues, chips, or damage, ensuring only spotless and service‑ready equipment returns to the kitchen line.
- Maintain an organized workflow by sorting and stacking dishes in designated areas, supporting kitchen staff during peak service periods.
- Monitor and restock cleaning agents, sanitizing solutions, and disposable supplies to prevent interruptions.
- Perform routine sanitation of the dishwashing area, including floor mopping, waste disposal, and proper handling of grease traps.
- Assist with basic food‑preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or preparing simple garnishes when the kitchen requires extra hands.
- Follow all health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to HACCP guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
