Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Petugas Sorter DW to join our logistics team at the Gresik facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring that incoming goods are accurately inspected, matched to order codes, and stored in the correct locations, supporting the seamless flow of products through our distribution network. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, able to work in a fast‑paced environment, and comfortable with shift schedules.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities against delivery documents.
- Inspect each item for physical damage, proper labeling, and compliance with quality standards.
- Match items to their corresponding order codes using handheld scanners or manual reference sheets.
- Transport sorted items to designated storage zones, ensuring correct placement for easy retrieval.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, discrepancies, and any incidents in the warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with inventory control, picking, and shipping teams to resolve mismatches or shortages.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Participate in periodic cycle counts and assist with stock reconciliation activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements that boost efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Male candidates preferred, as per operational requirements.
- No prior experience required; however, previous experience as a sorter or in a warehouse setting is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Key soft skills: rapid adaptation to new procedures, meticulous attention to detail during inspections, strong communication, and teamwork.
- Basic computer literacy for using barcode scanners and inventory software.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items up to 25 kg safely.
