Introduction

This role is pivotal in expanding Amartha’s reach, fostering financial inclusion, and supporting the economic growth of families in both urban and rural communities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential new borrowers, guiding them through Amartha’s program enrollment process.
  • Provide on‑site economic counseling and continuous support to existing members, helping households manage cash flow, budgeting, and repayment plans.
  • Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the Credit Committee, highlighting borrower creditworthiness, collateral considerations, and repayment capacity.
  • Facilitate weekly member meetings, monitor transaction activities, and resolve any service‑related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate field records, update the CRM system, and submit timely reports to regional supervisors.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product, risk, and operations—to refine outreach strategies and improve service delivery.
  • Represent Amartha at community events, local fairs, and partner gatherings to strengthen brand awareness and build lasting relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is preferred.
  • Age: 35 years old or younger.
  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Possession of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) for daily field travel.
  • Willingness to work in the field across any Amartha branch location, including remote areas.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse community members.
  • Flexibility to stay in provided mess accommodations during assignment periods.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, as well as candidates with relevant experience in sales, customer relations, or micro‑finance.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to assess loan eligibility and conduct risk‑based evaluations.
