Introduction
J&T Express, a leading logistics and courier service in Indonesia, is expanding its network in the Pasuruan region. We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Kurir Pengiriman. As a courier, you will play a critical role in ensuring that parcels reach customers safely, on time, and with the high‑quality service that J&T is known for. This position is open to candidates of all educational backgrounds who meet the age and licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver packages using a motorcycle, adhering to traffic regulations and company safety standards.
- Inspect each order before departure and after delivery to confirm that items are intact and correctly documented.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of parcels from the motorcycle, ensuring efficient handling and minimizing damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, record mileage, and report any incidents or delays to the operations supervisor promptly.
- Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner, confirming receipt of parcels and addressing minor inquiries.
- Plan daily routes using area‑mapping skills to optimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Perform basic vehicle checks each day (fuel, tire pressure, brakes) to guarantee the motorcycle is road‑worthy.
- Support the warehouse team during peak periods by helping with sorting and organizing parcels.
Requirements
- Gender: Male (as stipulated by the client’s operational policy).
- Age: Maximum 40 years old.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA) or equivalent; all educational levels are accepted.
- Driving License: Valid SIM C for motorcycles.
- Personal Vehicle: Own a reliable motorcycle suitable for parcel delivery.
- Technology: Own an Android smartphone with at least 2 GB RAM to run the J&T delivery app.
- Core Skills: Area mapping, time management, basic motorcycle operation, and customer service.
- Personal Traits: Honest, disciplined, responsible, presentable (clean, neat appearance, no tattoos, piercings, or drug use), and a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Able to work every day, Monday through Sunday, from 08:00 to 16:00.
