Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Steward Layanan Penumpang to join our dynamic passenger service team. This role is essential for delivering a memorable travel experience to our customers by providing courteous, efficient, and safe assistance throughout their journey. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment and demonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork, honesty, and responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding and disembarkation procedures.
  • Provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin, including seat areas, aisles, and lavatories.
  • Monitor passenger needs during the flight or journey, responding to special requests, dietary restrictions, and any comfort issues.
  • Handle minor medical or safety incidents, following company protocols and reporting to senior crew members when necessary.
  • Assist with luggage handling, ensuring proper storage and safe placement of passenger belongings.
  • Communicate effectively with the cockpit crew and ground staff to coordinate schedules, delays, and any operational changes.
  • Resolve passenger complaints or concerns with empathy, aiming for quick and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Participate in pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections, reporting any equipment or cabin issues.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety, security, and regulatory guidelines, including emergency procedures and equipment usage.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum).
  • Gender: Female (per operational policy).
  • No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Strong work ethic – diligent, honest, and highly responsible.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse crew members.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic proficiency in food and beverage service techniques.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting.
