Introduction
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated university students to join our Warehouse Department as part of a structured Program Magang (internship). This program provides a hands‑on learning environment where interns can gain real‑world experience in logistics, inventory management, and supply‑chain operations. The internship runs Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 18:00, allowing participants to develop a solid foundation while balancing academic commitments.
The role is ideal for individuals who are detail‑oriented, enjoy fast‑paced teamwork, and are eager to understand the end‑to‑end flow of goods in a modern distribution centre. By the end of the program, interns will have contributed directly to daily warehouse activities and will possess a portfolio of practical skills that are highly valued across the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and Issuing Goods: Verify incoming shipments, check documentation, and record items in the inventory system; prepare and release outbound orders accurately.
- Packing and Palletizing: Assemble, label, and pack products according to company standards, ensuring safe transportation and minimal damage.
- Sorting and Staging: Organize items by SKU, destination, or priority, and move them to appropriate storage locations or loading docks.
- Scanning and Data Entry: Use handheld barcode scanners and warehouse management software to update stock levels in real time.
- Inventory Audits: Participate in regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with month‑end stock reconciliation.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete receiving reports, packing slips, and daily activity logs, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Follow all safety protocols, operate equipment safely, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Communicate with procurement, sales, and transport teams to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; current enrollment in a university program is preferred.
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior work experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Key Skills:
- Strong communication abilities – both written and verbal.
- High level of attention to detail, especially during inspection and data entry.
- Basic computer literacy; comfortable using Microsoft Office and inventory software.
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and problem‑solving mindset.
