Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective borrowers in the local community, presenting Amartha’s loan products and explaining eligibility criteria.
  • Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments to determine creditworthiness and tailor financing solutions.
  • Perform on‑site surveys, collect documentation, and analyze the feasibility of loan applications in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, application status, and follow‑up actions using Amartha’s digital management system.
  • Facilitate regular follow‑up visits to existing borrowers, providing guidance on repayment schedules, financial literacy, and business development.
  • Coordinate with the central underwriting team to expedite approval processes and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Execute timely collection activities, including reminder calls, visits, and negotiation of repayment plans, while upholding a respectful and supportive approach.
  • Report weekly field performance metrics, challenges, and success stories to the regional supervisor.
  • Promote Amartha’s brand values in the community, acting as a trusted liaison between the organization and its clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years.
  • All genders are welcome; female candidates are preferred for community engagement.
  • Possession of a valid personal vehicle for daily field visits.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Resilience and adaptability to work independently in varying field conditions.
  • No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with basic digital tools (smartphone, data entry applications) for reporting and analysis.
