Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Merchandiser to join our fast‑growing FMCG team, covering the Kuningan and Pekalongan regions with a primary focus on the Cikarang area. This full‑time position operates Monday through Saturday, from 09:00 to 17:00, and offers the opportunity to represent leading frozen‑food brands in a competitive market. The ideal candidate will be a self‑motivated professional who thrives under pressure, enjoys building strong relationships with retail partners, and can translate market insights into measurable sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan for the Cikarang and surrounding areas, targeting supermarkets, convenience stores, and independent retailers.
- Identify new business opportunities, conduct store visits, and perform product demonstrations to increase shelf visibility of frozen‑food items.
- Maintain accurate merchandising standards, ensuring proper product placement, pricing, and promotional displays in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Collect and analyze market data, competitor activities, and consumer trends to provide actionable insights to the regional sales manager.
- Negotiate order volumes, discounts, and promotional terms with store owners while safeguarding profitability.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports using Microsoft Office tools, highlighting achievements, challenges, and forecasted targets.
- Collaborate closely with the logistics and supply‑chain teams to guarantee timely deliveries and resolve any stock‑out issues.
- Participate in regional trade shows, product launches, and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and industry best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retailers, addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work under tight deadlines and high‑pressure environments while maintaining a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven sales experience in the FMCG sector, preferably with frozen‑food products.
- Strong knowledge of the Cikarang market and established relationships with local retail outlets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage a territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Resilience under pressure, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Age: maximum 35 years (ideally under 30), open to all genders.
- Willingness to be based in Kuningan with regular travel throughout the assigned territory.
