Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor all kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance throughout each shift.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery to minimize downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions quickly, coordinating with external service providers when specialized repairs are required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with HACCP and local health regulations, including proper waste disposal and sanitation procedures.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks during peak periods to support overall production efficiency.
- Document maintenance activities, record equipment logs, and report any recurring issues to the Kitchen Manager.
- Participate in daily safety briefings, ensuring all team members are aware of emergency protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Support inventory control by checking stock levels of cleaning supplies, spare parts, and consumables, and notifying purchasing when re‑orders are needed.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to implement energy‑saving initiatives and reduce operational costs.
- Provide training to new staff on equipment usage, safety standards, and maintenance best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 30 years.

- Demonstrated ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events or peak periods.
