Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Rotate across different kitchen stations—including hot line, cold prep, grill, and pastry—as needed to ensure smooth service flow during peak periods.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and properly store food items to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Operate kitchen appliances and tools safely, including ovens, fryers, slicers, mixers, and industrial dishwashers.
- Communicate effectively with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order timing and resolve any service issues promptly.
- Support the head chef and kitchen supervisors by following daily prep lists, completing assigned tasks on time, and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including extended or overlapping shifts during high‑volume periods, while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, safety protocols, and hygiene best practices.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by being punctual, reliable, and willing to help colleagues when workloads surge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy).
- Age: 18 years or older.
- No prior experience required; however, a strong desire to learn kitchen operations is essential.
- Ability to handle a fast‑moving order flow and work efficiently under pressure.
- Willingness to work long shifts (08:00 – 17:00) and adapt to rotating schedules when needed.
- Flexibility to be assigned to any kitchen station based on operational demand.
- Strong sense of discipline, punctuality, and teamwork.
- Basic competency in operating common kitchen equipment and tools.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and the ability to follow written instructions.
