We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Petugas Stasiun Pengelolaan Sampah (Waste Station Operators). This role is pivotal in delivering a premium, customer‑focused experience while ensuring accurate data collection and maintaining a clean, safe station environment.
Responsibilities
The Waste Station Operator will be the front‑line ambassador of Rekosistem, responsible for handling all aspects of inorganic waste intake and processing. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers and receiving their inorganic waste deposits in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Documenting each transaction using the company’s mobile application, ensuring all data (customer details, waste type, weight) is accurately entered.
- Weighing, sorting, and categorising waste streams (e.g., plastics, metals, glass) according to recycling standards.
- Compiling daily weight summaries and submitting reports to the central office for performance tracking.
- Answering customer inquiries about recycling procedures, fee structures, and the benefits of proper waste segregation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order both inside the station and in the surrounding area, including regular sweeping, waste container checks, and minor facility upkeep.
- Identifying and reporting any operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or safety hazards, to the supervisor promptly.
- Participating in periodic training sessions on new application features, safety protocols, and customer‑service best practices.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and personal attributes:
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age between 21 and 50 years.
- Valid Indonesian ID (E‑KTP) and legal right to work in Indonesia.
- Comfortable working with inorganic waste materials and willing to adhere to safety guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide consistent, high‑quality service.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a sense of responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and the ability to navigate the waste‑station application with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work flexible hours (Monday to Saturday, 12:00 – 21:00) and handle a physically active work environment.
