Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based beverages, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to our brand standards.
- Assist senior kitchen staff with food prep, cooking, and plating of menu items, following recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, complying with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Operate and perform routine cleaning of coffee equipment, grinders, and brewing tools.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, dairy, pantry items, and kitchen supplies; report shortages and assist with stock rotation.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and accurate service to customers, handling inquiries, special requests, and occasional complaints with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions, covering both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house responsibilities as needed.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including full‑shift and weekend work, while demonstrating punctuality and reliability.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve coffee‑making techniques, food safety knowledge, and overall service excellence.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, seasonal promotions, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting; a minimum of 6 months experience specifically with espresso machines is preferred.
- Basic cooking skills and a genuine interest in expanding culinary knowledge.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication abilities.
- Demonstrated responsibility, honesty, and discipline in previous roles.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
