Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Accounting Chief to lead the finance function of our rapidly growing hospitality group. This senior role will be responsible for overseeing all corporate accounting activities, ensuring financial integrity, and providing strategic insight to support the company’s expansion across hotels, restaurants, and related service outlets. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, auditors, and operational teams to drive financial excellence while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.
- Supervise a team of accountants and junior staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process, aligning financial targets with operational plans for hotels and restaurants.
- Analyze variances, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to the executive team.
- Oversee cash flow management, treasury activities, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity.
- Ensure timely and compliant filing of tax returns, statutory reports, and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with the procurement and operations departments to streamline expense reporting and improve profitability.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, facilitating audit planning, fieldwork, and issue resolution.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial performance, presenting dashboards to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is highly preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, preferably within the hospitality or tourism sector.
- Strong understanding of hotel and restaurant operational cycles, cost structures, and revenue management.
- Excellent communication skills with a hospitality‑focused mindset and a commitment to service excellence.
- Professional appearance and demeanor; ability to represent the company positively to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays, as operational demands require.
- High level of discipline, honesty, and accountability; meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluency in Indonesian; proficiency in English is an advantage.
