Introduction
Amartha, a leading micro‑finance platform dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs in Indonesia, is expanding its field team in the Tapanuli Utara region. We are looking for enthusiastic Business Partners who will act as the vital link between Amartha and local mother‑partners (“ibu mitra”). In this role you will recruit, educate, and support these partners, ensuring smooth loan disbursement and repayment while contributing to the sustainable growth of our community‑driven business model.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit eligible mother‑partners in the assigned territory, building a robust pipeline of borrowers.
- Conduct on‑site product presentations and financial literacy sessions to explain Amartha’s loan products, interest structures, and repayment schedules.
- Perform eligibility surveys and credit‑worthiness assessments, documenting findings in the company’s CRM system.
- Assist partners throughout the loan application process, gathering required documents and facilitating timely fund disbursement.
- Monitor repayment performance, follow up on overdue payments, and coordinate with the finance team to resolve any issues.
- Gather market insights and feedback from mother‑partners to inform product enhancements and outreach strategies.
- Maintain a professional and ethical relationship with all stakeholders, adhering to Amartha’s code of conduct.
- Travel extensively across the assigned area, often on a personal motorbike, to ensure coverage of remote villages.
- Report weekly activity metrics, including recruitment numbers, loan applications processed, and repayment status.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is a plus.
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Must own a reliable motorcycle and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ethical judgment and a commitment to transparent, responsible lending practices.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Basic analytical abilities to assess partner eligibility and interpret repayment data.
- Willingness to be deployed anywhere within the Tapanuli Utara region as business needs dictate.
