Introduction
BNI Life, the insurance arm of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), is seeking dynamic and results‑driven Bancassurance Specialists (BAS) to join our expanding network of branches across Central Java and Yogyakarta. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between BNI’s banking services and our comprehensive life‑insurance portfolio, delivering tailored solutions to individual customers. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a detailed sales plan for life‑insurance products within the assigned BNI branch, aligning targets with regional performance goals.
- Conduct proactive prospecting and lead generation activities, leveraging BNI’s customer database, branch foot‑traffic, and community events.
- Present BNI Life insurance solutions to prospective clients, demonstrating deep product knowledge and articulating value propositions clearly.
- Negotiate policy terms, manage underwriting processes, and ensure seamless policy issuance in collaboration with the underwriting team.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with internal stakeholders—including branch managers, tellers, and credit officers—to create cross‑selling opportunities.
- Provide after‑sales service, handling policy queries, claim assistance, and renewal discussions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as policy sales, premium volume, and conversion rates on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product workshops, and certification programs to stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and BNI Life’s evolving product suite.
- Represent BNI Life at branch‑level events, community outreach programs, and corporate seminars, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for reliability and trust.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in any discipline; a degree in finance, business, or insurance is advantageous.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, banking, or insurance environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a professional, well‑groomed appearance.
- Ability to build rapport with both internal (BNI staff) and external (customers) stakeholders.
- Motivation to pursue a career in sales and meet or exceed ambitious targets.
- Active AAJI license is not required, but possession of one may be considered a plus.
- Flexibility to work in any of the following locations: Yogyakarta, Bumiayu, Purwokerto, Banjarnegara, Solo Raya, Klaten, or Boyolali.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; English language skills are a bonus for international travel opportunities.
