Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers safely and efficiently.
- Ensure strict adherence to food‑handling, hygiene, and sanitation protocols in line with local health regulations.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food deliveries, conducting regular inventory checks to minimize waste.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, sous‑chefs, and fellow kitchen staff to meet service timelines, especially during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, including daily deep‑cleaning of surfaces, utensils, and cooking areas.
- Monitor cooking temperatures and food quality, adjusting seasoning and cooking times as needed.
- Support menu development by providing feedback on ingredient availability, preparation techniques, and cost‑control measures.
- Participate in regular safety drills and attend mandatory training sessions on food safety, equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
- Document daily production logs and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 29 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, though enthusiastic newcomers are welcome.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in operating standard kitchen equipment and basic food preparation techniques.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow instructions and give clear updates.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, especially regarding hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
