We are seeking a qualified Drafter Fabrikasi Produk Mekanik to work at our Dadap facility, conveniently located near Soehatta Airport. This role is ideal for a mechanically‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and is eager to contribute to both detailed shop drawing creation and the preparation of critical certification documents for boiler and pressure‑vessel projects.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with shop floor technicians, project managers, and regulatory officials to ensure that every component is manufactured to the highest standards of precision, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design & Internal Technical Drawings: Produce detailed 2‑D and 3‑D shop drawings, layout plans, and assembly diagrams using AutoCAD. Ensure material specifications, tolerances, and welding symbols are accurately represented.
- Client Approval Drawings: Develop and revise approval drawings for client review, incorporate feedback, and obtain sign‑off before fabrication commences.
- Certification Documentation: Assist in assembling technical dossiers, material calculation sheets, and supporting data required for the issuance of the Surat Keterangan Memenuhi Syarat (SKK) K3 and other Depnaker/Disnaker permits, especially for boiler and pressure‑vessel products.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Liaise with the workshop operations team, quality assurance, and government inspectors to streamline the fabrication workflow and ensure timely permit acquisition.
- Standards Compliance: Apply industry‑standard mechanical drawing conventions, welding symbols, and safety standards to all deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance drawing efficiency, reduce errors, and support the implementation of best practices in CAD management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 – 3 years of professional experience as a drafter in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (both 2‑D drafting and 3‑D modeling).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drawing standards, GD&T, and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with Depnaker/Disnaker permitting processes for boilers and pressure vessels is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, precision, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
