We are seeking a dedicated Koki dan Asisten Dapur (Cook and Kitchen Assistant) to join our bustling restaurant team. As part of our culinary crew, you will work closely with the head chef to ensure that every plate leaving the kitchen meets our standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor and portion size.
- Assist in the daily mise en place, including chopping, marinating, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and help with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Support the head chef during peak service periods by plating dishes, refilling garnish trays, and expediting orders.
- Conduct regular equipment checks, report any malfunctions, and assist with routine maintenance.
- Participate in weekly menu tastings and provide feedback for recipe improvements.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and implement waste‑reduction practices to promote sustainability.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate timing of orders and address special dietary requests.
- Continuously develop culinary skills through on‑the‑job training and optional external workshops.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Maximum 28 years old.
- Gender: Female (KHUSUS WANITA).
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting.
- Core Skills: Strong cooking techniques, knowledge of basic Indonesian dishes, and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Soft Skills: Professional attitude, high sense of responsibility, teamwork orientation, and excellent time‑management.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 kg, and work in a hot, fast‑moving environment.
- Availability: Full‑time schedule, Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
