Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Staf Dapur – Penyiapan Makanan dan Kebersihan to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in delivering high‑quality, freshly prepared meals that meet our guests’ expectations while maintaining strict standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene. The successful candidate will work closely with chefs, kitchen assistants, and service staff to ensure smooth operations from ingredient receipt to plate presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to order specifications, ensuring taste, temperature, and presentation standards are consistently met.
  • Manage inventory of raw ingredients, track usage, and control food costs through accurate portioning and waste minimisation.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, delegating tasks, providing on‑the‑job training, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with local food‑handling laws.
  • Organise daily kitchen workflow, including scheduling prep times, coordinating with the front‑of‑house team, and adjusting production based on real‑time demand.
  • Assist in the development and periodic revision of the menu, contributing ideas for new dishes, seasonal variations, and cost‑effective ingredient substitutions.
  • Conduct routine inspections of kitchen appliances, report maintenance issues, and ensure all tools are in proper working condition.
  • Document daily production reports, record any incidents, and communicate effectively with management regarding operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Open to all genders; no age limit imposed.
  • No prior experience required, though a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Proven cooking skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to special dietary requests.
  • Strong time‑management abilities to handle multiple orders during peak periods.
