Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, assessing their photography or videography needs.
- Demonstrate product features, conduct hands‑on trials, and explain technical specifications of digital cameras, lenses, and accessories.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through effective upselling, cross‑selling, and promotion of store‑wide campaigns.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base on emerging camera technologies, firmware updates, and industry trends.
- Provide post‑sale support, including warranty assistance, product registration, and troubleshooting basic camera functions.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Assist in visual merchandising, ensuring displays are attractive, stocked, and reflective of current promotions.
- Process transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system and manage cash handling procedures.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product workshops, and team meetings to continuously improve sales techniques.
- Work on a rotating shift schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays, to ensure optimal store coverage.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 35 years; open to all genders.
- At least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; further education in marketing or communications is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience in retail sales, preferably in electronics, photography, or related fields.
- Strong personal presentation and a polished, approachable appearance.
- Genuine enthusiasm for photography and videography, with the ability to operate a digital camera confidently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
