Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Operator Mesin Bordir – Pengoperasian & Perawatan to join our fast‑growing textile manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and routine maintenance of our state‑of‑the‑art embroidery machines. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative shift crew, and possesses basic computer skills in CorelDraw, Microsoft Word, and Excel. This position offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule with the opportunity to develop technical expertise in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate embroidery machines according to production orders, ensuring correct thread tension, needle selection, and fabric positioning.
- Interpret design files (CorelDraw, .dst, .emb) and convert them into machine‑readable formats, performing any necessary adjustments for optimal stitch quality.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn components to minimize downtime.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines, documenting any issues and coordinating with senior technicians for more complex problems.
- Inspect finished embroidered products for defects, verify colour accuracy, and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs, record machine settings, and update inventory of threads, needles, and other consumables.
- Collaborate with the design and production planning teams to meet daily targets and adjust workflow during peak periods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical equipment and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in shift handovers, clearly communicating any outstanding tasks, equipment status, or quality concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in training sessions.
Requirements
- Male candidates preferred, but all genders are welcome to apply.
- Maximum age of 27 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Basic proficiency in CorelDraw for handling embroidery designs.
- Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to read and recite Al‑Qur’an, reflecting the cultural values of our workplace.
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including Saturdays.
- No current commitments to other organizations or companies that could create a conflict of interest.
- Excellent attention to detail, good hand‑eye coordination, and a proactive attitude toward learning new machine functions.
- Basic literacy in managing damaged garments and implementing corrective measures.
