Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Cashier to serve as the primary point of contact for daily sales transactions at our retail outlet in Kudus. Responsibilities
- Process all cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain the cash register, reconcile daily sales, and prepare end‑of‑day reports.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Verify the authenticity of bills and coins, and handle refunds or exchanges in accordance with company guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout area and alert supervisors to low‑stock items.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as receipt paper and bags.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues promptly and maintain a positive shopping atmosphere.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and health protocols, including proper sanitation during shift changes.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current with point‑of‑sale (POS) system updates and sales techniques.
- Support promotional events and seasonal sales by setting up displays and managing increased transaction volume.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy).
- Age: Up to 28 years old.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems; prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a shift‑based environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00).
- Residence in Kudus or surrounding areas, ensuring punctuality and familiarity with local commuting routes.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and a courteous demeanor toward customers.
