Responsibilities

The Kitchen Operations Staff Member will be entrusted with a broad range of duties that keep the kitchen running smoothly. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing, portioning, and labeling ingredients according to recipe specifications.
  • Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, mixers, and slicers safely.
  • Ensuring all workstations are clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift.
  • Conducting routine inventory checks, reporting shortages, and assisting with stock replenishment.
  • Adhering to food safety regulations, including proper temperature control and allergen management.
  • Collaborating closely with chefs, sous‑chefs, and fellow kitchen staff to meet service timelines.
  • Assisting in the plating and presentation of dishes during peak service periods.
  • Participating in daily briefings, providing feedback on workflow improvements.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries or special requests with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Supporting waste‑reduction initiatives by correctly storing leftovers and minimizing spoilage.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 35 years old (maximum age limit as per local labor regulations).
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on kitchen or food‑service experience.
  • Skills: Ability to operate kitchen equipment, basic knowledge of food safety standards, and proficiency in basic math for portion control.
  • Personal Attributes: Quick learner, meticulous, disciplined, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork orientation, excellent communication, friendly demeanor, and a customer‑service mindset.
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
