Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader – Project Management and Team Development to spearhead the growth of our student‑card insurance programme across schools, government agencies, community organisations, markets and UMKM (micro‑, small‑ and medium‑enterprises). This senior‑level position sits at the intersection of business development, project execution, and people leadership within a fast‑growing insurance company that is dedicated to providing affordable, high‑quality coverage for students and their families.

The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the insurer and external partners, design and launch innovative insurance solutions, and build a high‑performing team of sales and partnership professionals. Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and negotiate partnership agreements with schools, government bodies, community groups, market associations and UMKM owners for the student‑card insurance product.
  • Design, pilot, and roll out customised insurance programmes that meet the specific needs of each partner organisation.
  • Conduct market surveys and data‑driven analyses to pinpoint target schools and other institutions, assessing risk profiles and enrollment potential.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with both public and private stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation, compliance, and renewal of programmes.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, KPI dashboards, and supporting documentation for senior management and partner organisations.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and coaching of new business partners and internal sales representatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Develop and execute a regional partnership network strategy, aligning business development activities with the company’s growth targets and regional market potential.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and risk factors, applying corrective actions where necessary to keep initiatives on schedule.
  • Collaborate with product, underwriting, and compliance teams to ensure that all insurance offerings meet regulatory standards and internal quality controls.
  • Drive team motivation through regular performance reviews, goal‑setting sessions, and recognition programmes.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field is a strong advantage.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in the insurance industry, preferably in B2B sales, partnership development, or project coordination.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
  • Valid driver’s licence (SIM) and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Established network of contacts within schools, government agencies, community organisations, markets and UMKM sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and lead a team toward measurable results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Key soft skills: leadership, negotiation, problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and basic data analysis software.
  • Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory and work occasional evenings for partner events.
